What is Tonelixa?

Tonelixa is an iPhone audio manager. Import audio offline from video, Apple Music, Files, or a recording. Trim and mix on device, save to a local library, then set a ringtone, play in the background, or share.

How do I import audio?

  • Video: Tonelixa extracts the audio track automatically.
  • Apple Music: Use tracks the device makes available (DRM-protected or streaming-only songs may not import).
  • Files / iCloud: Bring in common audio formats from Files.
  • Recording: Capture a new clip with the microphone.

How do I make a ringtone?

  1. Import audio or video that you have the right to use, then save it to your library.
  2. Open a track and detect the best clip, or choose the part you want and trim it to a maximum of 30 seconds. You can also add fade-in and fade-out.
  3. Save the ringtone and select Make when you are ready to set it.

How do I set a ringtone?

iOS 26 or later

After exporting, use the system Use as Ringtone option to set your ringtone.

Earlier iOS versions

Tonelixa exports a GarageBand project. Open it in GarageBand, then choose Share and select Ringtone. GarageBand must be installed to complete this process.

Why can't I import an Apple Music song?

Some Apple Music tracks are protected by DRM, are not downloaded to your device, or do not allow editing. Tonelixa can only use media that iOS makes available. You must also have the right to use any audio you import.

What files can I import?

Tonelixa supports common audio formats including MP3, M4A, M4R, WAV, AAC, AIFF, AIF, and CAF. You can also extract audio from eligible videos in your photo library or Files.

Subscriptions and free access

Tonelixa Pro provides an ad-free experience, unlimited editing and library use, background audio playback, ringtone setting, and full feature access. Subscription plans and prices are displayed in the app before purchase.

Eligible users may be able to watch a rewarded advertisement for 24 hours of temporary full access. This option may not always be available.

To manage or cancel a subscription, open your Apple ID subscriptions in iOS Settings or the App Store. Apple handles billing and refund requests.

Where is my audio stored?

Your imported audio, recordings, library, ringtone projects, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Tonelixa does not upload your audio files to our servers. Read our Privacy Policy for details about third-party services and data handling.

Copyright and permitted use

Only import audio or video that you own or have permission to use. Buying or streaming a song does not necessarily grant the right to edit it, create a ringtone from it, or share it.
